Are you contemplating registering for the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines course, yet you haven't undertaken the Level 2 course? 
 
About the Test
To sign up for the "WSET Level 3 Award in Wines" course, you must possess the "WSET Level 2 Award in Wines" or "WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits" qualification. However, if you believe you have already acquired a Level 2-equivalent wine knowledge, you may register directly for the Level 3 course provided that you pass our Direct Entry Test.

This Direct Entry Test is used by VSF Wine Education in London to determine if a student possesses the knowledge required for direct enrolment on the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines (Online or Classroom) course. If you already hold the "WSET Level 2 Award in Wines" or "WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits" qualification, then you are not required to take this entry test.
 
Passing this test will only guarantee your eligibility to sign up for the Level 3 Award in Wines (Online Course or Classroom Course) at VSF Wine Education. Other WSET-affiliated schools may or may not accept your test results as evidence of prior knowledge. If you intend to study with another course provider, please do check with them first.

How much does it cost?
A fee of £45.00 is charged to sit the test. However, if you pass and go on to enrol in the "WSET Level 3 Award in Wines" course with us, whether in the online or classroom format, this testing fee will be reimbursed against the fee for your course. The discount is also applicable if you decide to start from a lower level.
 
What if I fail?
If you fail the test, you may wish to enrol on the "WSET Level 2 Award in Wines" course (either in the online or classroom format) or one of our multi-level packages. If you book onto any of these courses/packages within six months of taking the Direct Entry Test, your testing fee will be reimbursed against the cost of the course.

What’s involved?
The test is delivered online and consists of 50 multiple choice questions which must be completed in 45 minutes. This test can only be taken once and must be completed during a single session. The passing grade is 80%, equivalent to least 40 correct answers. You will be advised of the result immediately after completion.
 
Any certificate?
Your pass or fail result will be held in our internal database, exact marks will not be released and no certificate will be issued.

Your login will be valid for 30 days after issue.
